The Chehalis Treatment Court (CTC) program was initiated by Chehalis Municipal Court in 2024 with the unanimous support of the Chehalis City Council to support individuals with substance abuse and/or mental health disorders in seeking treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery. The mission of the CTC is to assist individuals with mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders to find recovery, limit their involvement with, and stay accountable to the justice system while growing as productive members of our community.
In its first year, CTC has enrolled 6 participants who are fully engaged in their own individual treatment and recovery plans. With additional referrals to the program coming each month, the program anticipates reaching a capacity of 10 to 15 participants in the coming months.
