The WA State Therapeutic Courts Alumni Association’s Therapeutic Court Month celebration on May 16th was an incredibly powerful and successful event, held in partnership with Yakima County Drug Court Alumni and sponsored by Pierce County Alliance. Alumni and attendees from eight different counties across Washington State came together for inspiring speakers, an amazing music performance by alumni, and support from judges, prosecutors, treatment providers, community organizations, and the Yakima County Sheriff’s Department. Prizes were also given away throughout the event, including big screen TVs, cash prizes, and more. It was truly a powerful day of recovery, hope, community, and connection.
