Scott R. Beach, MD

Psychiatrist, Massachusetts General Hospital Acute Psychiatric and Psychiatric Consultation Services

Dr. Scott R. Beach is an attending psychiatrist with the Massachusetts General Hospital Psychiatry Consultation and Acute Psychiatric Services, and an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He is the former Program Director for the MGH/McLean Adult Psychiatry Residency. He attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed a residency in Adult Psychiatry at the University of Virginia. He finished a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Beach has clinical and scholarly areas of expertise in catatonia and related syndromes, QT prolongation and psychiatric medications, and the neuropsychiatric effects of COVID-19.
