One in three veterans faces mental health challenges after service—but they don’t have to face them alone.
Through the Mental Health and Veterans Court Program (MHVC), the Strophy Foundation helps connect veterans to the care, benefits, and support they’ve earned. From early outreach in the justice system to coordinated treatment, housing, and mentorship, MHVC is designed to restore stability, reduce repeat offenses, and create better outcomes for veterans and our community.
“Dedicated outreach is critical,” shares Program Manager Alexandria Ross. “Veterans often face service-related challenges that can be misunderstood. This program helps ensure they’re supported—not overlooked.”
Even after completing the program, veterans stay connected—often returning as mentors and community leaders. Recently, participants helped revitalize the Thurston County Food Bank’s Victory Garden, giving back while continuing their own journey forward.
This is what community care looks like—steady, compassionate, and life-changing.

Our fourth annual golf tournament on August 14, 2026, is held at the outstanding Capitol City Golf Course. Over 100 golfers will join us each August, to compete in our 18-hole tournament where we set up a day full of fun with sponsors, games, food, drinks, and raffle prizes.
