Join us for an interactive retreat focused on strengthening Motivational Interviewing (MI) skills tailored to therapeutic court settings. Grounded in the principles from Motivational Interviewing: Helping People Change and Grow, this training will help you:

• Build trust and partnership with court participants
• Apply the Spirit of MI (PACE: partnership, acceptance, compassion, empowerment)
• Practice core skills like open questions and affirmations (OARS)
• Navigate ambivalence, sustain talk, and discord effectively

Through guided exercises, group discussions, and practical application, you’ll leave with tools to engage, focus, evoke, and plan for meaningful change with clients.

In person registrants must register by March 20^th to be included in the lunch count.  In person registrations received after March 20^th may need to provide their own lunch.
